Security Alert! The Grum-A worm
Security Alert! Security Alert! The Grum-A worm is on the loose, disguised as an innocent-looking Microsoft beta download. (Does that sound suspicious in the slightest? I guess it depends on how you look at it.)
In any case, the latest virus being shared with unsuspecting email users is an .exe file claiming to be Internet Explorer 7.0
I imagine it’s pretty prevalent because I’ve received at least two emails claiming to be MS IE 7.0 beta downloads in the past 24 hours. So consider yourselves warned.

Nope i heard IE 6.0 SE will be the default browser you will off-couse need to have Windows ME installed.
You won't have to worry about restarting after each update either, the in-built BSOD automagically takes care of the need to reboot every 5mins.

I am waiting for the link to the rogue AV program that will supposedly protect us.

Hmmmm,
Slightly off topic but...................
Nope i heard IE 6.0 SE will be the default browser you will off-couse need to have Windows ME installed.
Make that Windows 2000 SP4, much less of a resource hog and infinitely more stable
Which brings me to a slight problem I have with a machine running W2K SP4. Obviously it will only run IE 6 SP1, and this just won't connect to the MS update site, and hasn't for some time.
MS still support Office XP (2002) yet I cannot get updates for this legitimate paid for product.
