    why my computer shows a black screen after turning on

    I did not have such problem before.

    now (my computer is 3 years old), sometimes when i just turn it on,
    it shows a black screen first, then it is ok.

    Hi Steelcat,

    I think that you might have a overflow problem?...............is this a laptop or tower, and are what are the specifications?

    Please Google (or other search engine) for:

    CCleaner
    Auslogics Disk Defragmenter

    Run them in that order..................it might help
