    what is remote differential compression

    can I disable this feature,

    I only need general computer usage,

    read web pages, email, youtube, playing poker/chess online.

    Did you google the term to get an idea of what it's all about so you can make an informed decision?

    Remote Differential Compression (RDC) allows data to be synchronized with a remote source using compression techniques to minimize the amount of data sent across the network.
    From that brief description - it sounds like its a good idea. The less data you send between two point the faster you'll have access to it
