Use a USB adapter.
Or slave it.
With XP you will need to take ownership and Vista/Win7 you will need to share that drive.

don't... I have good encrypted backups, and an encrypted local drives. make sure you dont or make sure you have it somewhere hidden away where you can get to it just in case.......

On Windows, there is a hidden account named Administrator. Most of the time, this account has no password set. That means that you can start your computer with this account, open the Control Panel to delete or change the password of any users and fix your problem.

That's about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Please put your 'puter back in the box it came in and send it back to the place of purchase. You are too stupid to own a computer!
