    Help me plz

    I'm currently fixing a customers Laptop Toshiba Satellite S55-A5295 OS Windows 8. System is stuck in Automatic reboot mode. So far, I have tried

    Automatic Repair (no go)


    Tried to enter safe mode (no go)


    Tried "Refresh Your PC" (no go)


    No system image was made


    No system restore to backup to


    Literally every option no go.


    I went old school and did it through command prompt (no go)


    Even made a bootable drive with Windows 8 .iso no go


    Tried create media from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/w...-refresh-media


    Took out the laptop hdd placed it in my desktop tower to extract the data BIOS detects it etc,, but attempting to rip data from the HDD no go. This is a customers system he runs his business on but NEVER did a backup. I need to get customers information backed up to my external hdd, reformat the system then install windows 10 (upon customers request) Any other tips, suggestions would be great thanks, mj

    !. You do have to take ownership of the hdd or give yourself permission to access it.

    Thanks for the reply Shay like always greatly appreciated. However, the article is for Windows 10 I need one for windows 8 and I cannot get into the desktop at all and im now getting this error all help is greatly apperciatedIMAGE FOR SYSTEM.png

    I stay away from 8 and 8.1
    Well to take ownership, you will need to slave the hdd in using another computer. USB or install the drive.

    Now that error, I would just install Win 10 and be done with it.

    I downloaded the media creation tool for the windows 10 install and installed it on a thumb drive, changed the boot sequence so USB boots "first" saved changes then exit and now it still's just getting the same error.? All
    help is greatly appreciated

    Run the hdd makers diagnostic on the drive.
    Both short and long test.

    See what they say, as we will be wasting time if it turns up bad.
