What is the Important Factor in Choosing the Hosting Parter?

On what basis a person should select Hosting partner for their Website? What qualities one should check before purchasing Hosting?

Well im sure there are many factors , Your server resonse is a big one for me. I read a google research page that correlates ranking not with fully loaded speed but with ttfb, time to first byte , The faster the ttfb the higher the ranking regardless of loading time. Ofcourse this may be because some shared hosting services do not allow keep alive connections to be on. Also the downtime of a site is a major thing , if google wants to crawls your site but your hosting is down for a bit is causes major implications as google has a "crawl budget".
