Dcom
Hello guys , im trying to disable dcom but i can't even get to the tab thru start>run>dcomcnfg ; there is an alert popup window telling me the file "dcomcnfg"(or one of its components) is missing.
Could someone help me fix this problem ? thx for your reactions !

Yes...don't un-install it. You need DCOM for all client server transactions under windows. You will be doing more harm than good.

DCOM is not a bad thing, I (if I were you) would just leave it alone. Cause one day may be today you will have an application that uses DCOM and it will squak at you.

how to restore this file without messing up my system is my question .
