Right, you could have it sealed and "timestamped" by someone that would be legaly recongnized and wait for the cable co to say that you're still using it..

Between, you should try asking them to provide more proof that you have been using it.. they can probably trace the MAC/ip to a local segment that would prove not to be your location...
