Hello,

I haven't been around for a very long while, but haven't forgotten that you all were here. So, here I am with a new question.

Recently, I took some digital photographs of my daughter at a Halloween Party held at a club near where we live. I've used the digital camera on several occassions without any problems in the resulting pictures.

Several years ago, I was briefly interested in paranormal things and read some about "orbs" sometimes thought to be energy transferred between people and things or sometimes thought to be ghosts. Which is correct, I have no idea. One of life's greatest mysteries perhaps, but that's not why I'm here today exactly...

Several of the pictures... well, most of the pictures I took of my girl at this Halloween Party contained those energy orbs and being what I precieved at not sendable or ruined, I deleted all of those. Keeping only 3 or 4 of the party pictures. My husband is in the Navy and returned from deployment recently. A few days ago, he's browsing through the few pictures of our daughters party, since he missed it, and asks me if this was all that I'd took. I told him No, I'd taken several but nearly all of them were filled with these orbs and our daughter wasn't much visible, blurry, or whatever. I got rid of every picture I thought worthless. He's made it clear that he'd like to have seen these ruined pictures, but what can I do, they're gone right?

Last night, I'm watching Law & Order on TV, not unusual. This particular show has to do illegal internet activities. The police take the computer into their custody and are able to retrieve email and picture files, even those that were deleted from the disk, as if deleted files aren't really deleted.

My question is, was this just something made up for the show, or are our files not really deleted? If it's not really deleted then where do these deleted files go in order to make room for the new things we put on our computers. Better still, do I still have the ruined photo's of our daughters Halloween party with the energy orbs? Is there some way I can still show those to my husband since he really wanted to see the orbs (ghosts) floating about this Navy base's most popular club and our 3 year old daughter?

Thanks for everyone's time that reads and I look forward to any repllies.
Sincerely,
LisaDarln

PS: I did keep one picture of her on the dance floor. There's one orb in this one, if anyone wants to see it.
