OK... Interesting viewpoint. But there are very few occasions in history where the lines of good and evil are drawn. This is not one of them. You make another point about the USSR in the 40's, now let me remind you of something, STALIN! Stalin was far worse then Hitler ever could be, he killed more of his own people and exercised more control than Hitler did, so while Hitler is the spawn of satan, Stalin is satan himself. The only redeeming feature about Stalin - he is finally dead.

The simple fact is that Israel is just as violent as any other country in the middle east, if not more so. Israel kills at least many hundred Palestinians in a year, yet you never hear about that, do you? Its always about Israel, poor israel, frankly Israel has got nothing to lose and everything to gain, if they ever get their back against the wall can you guess who will show up? The good ol' US of A, why? Because much of the media is run by people of the Jewish faith, therefore Israel has A LOT more support than any other country in the ME. It is my belief that Iraq was only invaded for four reasons:
1) So Bush junior could avenge daddy Bush.
2) Because it would close off oil companies in Iraq so more of Bush's oil would go to market (Yes, his family and friends do own some oil fields)
3) So that Iraqis oil could be sold and benefit the US with its sales.
4) Cause it was much more saleable to the american public then invading some other country in ME.
