I had to eat humble pie recently with a hardware problem, I was certain it was malware untill I found the cpu heatsink wasn't mounted correctly.. well it only failed on Spybot scans..thats my excuse

back to the subject:

waht makes you think its a virus and not a hardware problem..like cpu, memory, hdd, mobo or PSU..
