woi! thanks a lot for the help and the advices. and yeah i figured out XTC46's statement that if port 80 is open. while am doing some scans on the nmap some ports are actually open. then i got back into my previous configurations and sumthing is missing. i restored my firewall's defaults and by that port 80 was closed since the firewall doesn't know if the box has a webserver in it or dont.
so what i did was i got into my firewall settings then exceptions and added port 80(http). then, as soon as i ok'd all the windows. my site is up once again. also, i added up some tcp/ip filtering in my firewall.
for all of you who's expert on these might give me a fair reaction but i tell u it was an addition to my knowledge.
