I think that due to microsoft's business ethics, they have lost their original followers to linux. Microsoft has alot to prove with vista. Since the release of xp many have migrated to linux. We must also realize that inorder to gain the lesser technologicaly inclined audience that linux needs to be able to have a much easier installation of the OS itself and programs. not many typical internet surfers and soccer moms are gonna know what driver they need for their machine or what commands are needed to install something as simple as AIM on their machines. Maybe if bill gates took his head out of his ass and had his developers work on something like a linux/windows kernel or the world might be a better place. But what do i know, im a 15 year-old who still has so much more to learn.
