Where did you see that?? talk about short sighted.........I think I mentioned India and China......2 of this planets biggest population areas......but on the topic of Africa, isn't it there that they have a serious Aids epidemic right now, maybe a little education about the ol rubber sock may have saved a lot of these people's lives....as well as a lot of starving children......

Again, You say Macho why? Clearly you dont even know about the fact that many Women in Africa, are leaders (40 % are of Parliamentarians). There is no Cultural Bias toward the Male or Female Child, as pointed out, in other Countries, Females are as revered as Male Children, no distinction is made. Tradition and Culture are very important in an Identity of People. So I do not think You can trivialise it.
