Yes if it is an OEM installation or a retail version there is no problem, as each individual copy has been paid for. What I was referring to was where larger organizations buy group licences and/or where the applications software has been upgraded. As you pay less for the upgrade you are not allowed to (legally) use or pass on the older version.

In a private situation I don't suppose that many people pay much attention to this. Here we have a church and what would seem to be a reasonably sized donor (several computers) so there is a possibility of embarassment for both parties?
