The line of sanity is a tightly drawn thread, and this system is starting to get a little heavy hanging from this thread..

I have tried pressing "F5" when the "(VIA Technologies INC. VIA VT8237 Serial ATA RAID Bios settings Utility V2.20)" comes up and and scans for devices...It does nothing. I have also made a point to press every other key on the the keyboard....they do nothing as well. I have left a support Ticket the the Tech Support on the manufactureres website. However from passed experiances i dont expect to get much accomplished with the manuf.....

The Mobo and CPU were a bundle package origianlly. I bought it from tiger direct as a "Matched" package. I returned the old Mobo in hope that the bios was simply corrupt or something, however the new one gives the same errors....

In the POST boot screen it does automatically set the ClockSpeed, and you were right Nihil, it does run at 100mhz. What confuses me is why would the RAID utility try and run, when obviously there are no S-ATA devices to be detected? Became curious about bad RAM so i swithced out the RAM with a different 512 chip and still got the same probs...

Does anyone know if there is a jumper setting to "Manually" disable the S-ATA ports on the MOBO?

Keep them ideas and thoughts coming PLEASE!
