The user tried Windows Movie maker, however when playing the video back it was all pixelated. I see your point, if the user is struggling a little bit with Pinnacle. He would be really stuck with Premiere.
Thank you very much for the advise though you and everyone else have been really helpful 
I don't know where to go from now but I appreciate the advise you and everyone else that has been given to me, as I know it is waste of time even considering premiere due to his competency level.
He has bought a video editing package (without consulting me) So if the software is no good he can get on with it. If he gain some success with it though, I will post the name of the software solution.
