I think I have a couple of cases from the same Chinese source they are called "Casecom" over here. Mine have a fancy side mounting HDD/SSD system and a route the cables round the back setup. For 28GBP I think that they are reasonable value by our price standards.

Mine came with a front 120mm fan that sucks IN..........you have to buy a 120mm fan to fit at the back and suck OUT. There are two 80/120 mm mountings on the side which I have sucking IN; and a 120/140mm on the top which I have sucking OUT ( other models have two fans on top, rather than just the one). I think that this is what doppy is suggesting? IN everywhere except back and top..........

It has a bottom mounted PSU, which I have mounted with the fan facing upwards into the case.........that one will suck down and out.......no choice there, as there is very little clearance, and the screw holes are in the wrong place for any other configuration?

and this has the bottom mounted PSU like all the cool kids have these days.

Perhaps worth a mention that you may well need extension cables for the 24 pin and 4 pin connectors to the MoBo, as the regular PSU cables are frequently not quite long enough. Unpredictable what a dodgy connection might produce?

I guess your video card is next to the PSU? hot air and conflicting fans could cause that? At this point I am beginning to suspect the PSU as being defective, as 850W should be ample for whatever you have (unless it is an i-7 extreme?). Hell's teeth, I run Phenom II and core i on 500-650W PSUs

If it feels uncomfortably hot then there is something very wrong there IMO. I expect a PSU to be a relative hotspot on idle, but not to be even uncomfortable to finger touch.

Errrrr...........the voltage setting is correct, isn't it?........................

And the PSU fan is blowing out (that's all they ever do when they are still working)

In the case of side panel fans, experiment as sometimes in works better and others out works best.
Yeah, in the case of two side fans and no front fan, I would suggest starting with the bottom side sucking in and the top side blowing out. The rear fan sucks out as usual.
