Oh no, here we go again...:(
Okay, fellows, I've got this one...
To learn how to hack a Unix system, go to www.google.com and learn it...
Being an observor here over the past few months, it's well known that this isn't the place for that kind of post...
Would you like the simple 10-step list, or a reference to one of the For Dummies books?Quote:

Seriously, your question ticks me off. I'm by no means a *nix guru, but there is no way that question is gonna be simply answered. You didn't give enough information, context, and there is no panacea! Grr! Everyone on the internet seems to think there is a readily-defined point-and-click way to do something, that they can do something just by finding the information from someone else without learning anything.
You should click on the little icon on your screen that looks like pi. And then you have to enter in three zeroes.
Your question is like asking:
"How do I steal money from my neighbor?"
"How do I start this car? I'm not sure why it won't go."
"How do I ace all my finals?"
hey guys! i have a good idea! :)
how about all us "l33t" onez stop answering to any lame SK posts??? that way we don't need to explain to all the SKs how dumb they are, we simply don't say anything...
I know it gives more posts to flame on ppl but it's a waste of time... we could be discussing real issues instead...
PEACE!
Does this mean that JP needs to post the Newbie "warning" at the head of all Forums???
Probably Jiffyprogasm...I'm beggening to think that AntiOnline was made just for uneducated , computer illiterate, lazy scripties who want a:Quote:

*sigh*...what is this place comming to. JP should put a banner with a link that shows how not to get flamed...the heading should be something like:
CLICK ME FOR CONCEPTIONS ON HOW NOT TO GET FLAMED
...who knows...
Hey careful there Carnage, I am illiterate and a computer newbie, but I am not, repeeet, a skript kiddie...
But really folks, all who come here looking for such info usually get sent on there merry ole way. :)
AO still stands tall, I think the regulars can continue to banter back and forth and maintain a high level of education for newer members like myself, (new to the inner workings of this box in front of me). :)
Hehehe...Jiffy, I was in no way calling you..., I repeeet, a script kiddie. It was just a general statement. I don't think i've ever seen you post up a question asking how to hack into your neighbors *NIX box. And if you have...you should get shot. J/K. But honestly...can't these guys just go try something like this. ...It's not that hard.
Carnage:
Yep never asked how to hack and never will. I am currently reading all I can here on how to set up my own network so I can learn thataway. I read until my eyes bleed and then read some more, lol...
Have a good one.
