Hey,
I was wondering if anyone had ever attended any of the Black Hat conferences. There is one in New Orleans in Feb of '02 and the price is $750 (I think) for a one day one part course or a two day two part course. Has anyone been to a Black Hat session? Good? Worth the bucks? I doubt I'll make that Feb. one but I'd like to know whether to check into it farther. Any advice welcome...

Not exactly. Black Hat is a "group" that does conferences/courses/briefings on security. Go to www.blackhat.com to see what I mean. I believe the courses consist of lectures, demonstrations, etc.

Alright "group" wasn't the right word, it made em sound like cDc or b0g or something like that. Check the website and you'll understand what I'm talking about.
