I read this article a few months ago regarding drive-by hacking.

heh, last night there was a big story on the news(might have been my local news; cant remember) about how the next "big thing" is going to be to have a wireless lan for your house...i was thinking "um...can you say hackers plaground?"...i mean seriously, can you immagine a neighborhood with 10 or so different houses all set up with wireless lan's. since they are houses, not corporations with tons of money to spend on IT staff, you can bet they wont be secure. anybody could get themselves a laptop and use the lan of some house to hack away, then leave with no evidence pointing to them, only to the house.

Yeah, I think that people are getting over-excited with Wireless Technology.
It seems to me that people are getting so carried away with this fancy, schmancy technology and totally disregarding all of the security implications that are associated.
"Diving in head first" one might say......
