I just hope this becomes a freeware (actually it wont for some time atleast)
Someone else in another thread has previously said.... "Why would you want to ruin a perfectly good Linux OS by installing a Micro$oft product?"....I tend to agree...
K Office seems to do the job for me....
Some ppl have long lasting loyalty with M$ products.......to get the to the linux bandwagon we need the products like these...and if ur working on a good professional level then believe me whatever the *nix community say...no one can beat M$ office, thats why its on the TOP ,even Lotus dosent come near it ..........only if u need all the stuff given out with it.
But yes for gen home users ..K office does the job...but still not every one is comfortable with it.......and what if person have linux at his home and win at hhis office ....portability issue comes in picture.
I agree %150,one cant argue against logic like this.Quote:

I think this is great simply because if you asked 100 people in the street to name the first 10 words that come to them when you say comupter most will inculde m$ in their list. If Linux can have get some of this attention by the home user whom know little to nothing that is great perhaps that will really wake up you average computer user.
