I own a laptop that I've ahd for a few years. It is password protected and won't even boot without the password. Being as forgetful as hell, i forgot the damn password! Is there any way around this? I know there are password recovery progs, but the thing won' t even boot up! someone help?
Like, do you mean it won't boot from the very beginning when all the black is up? If so, just look on google on how to remove the battery of the BIOS, then put it back in there...it'll clear the memory.
On a lot of laptops, all you have to do is remove and replace a certain jumper or two. Depends on the brand. Check the website of the company that made your laptop.
