[pong]Temporaily disable Net Nanny:[/pong]
1. Press ctrl, alt, and delete simultaneously this displays Task Manager
2. Highlight Wn1dr32 and end task
This disables Net Nanny until u restart your comp. To permanently disable it, follow these steps:
1. Open the file C:\windows\system.ini. Find the line labeled "drivers=" (with some text after it) under the
section marked [boot].
2. Remove the word wndrv16.dll from the "drivers=" line.
3. Save changes to the file and restart your comp and your done. :flip:

Hmm. The Ctrl+Alt+Delete thing is kind of odd. I didn't think that it would be on the task manager. Fortunately I don't have anything like that here.

why would youw ant to disable net nanny?
-
That just tells me that Net Nanny sucks if any neophyte could disable it like that.
(no offense)
When the time comes I shall use another product.

Not to mention it's this guys second (first?) post...sheez.

My question is why the fark would it even be in ctrl-alt-del? If it was that shitty that even my 2 year old cousin could disable it, why would the company even make it? Puzzles Me.....
