I frequently get this error that will not go away thats comes up as "FTP-BACK" and will not go away till my computer reboots. My current OS for my desk top is: Windows 98, Compaq Presaro 5735, with a Conxant HCF v90 56k Data fax modem, that i still can not get connect with. So i'm assuming that this "FTP-BACK" has something to do with my modem, or the computer is just horribley screwed up.
Do you have any particular way of reproducing this problem or does this magically appear without any intervention? (ie. turn your machine on and it shows up)
Are you running any sort of personal firewall on your box?
The more information you can provide, the better... unfortunately Google seems like like to ignore the dash in a search and I'm too tired to try to figure out how to force it through.

yea, basically it just magically appears while i am away from my computerl, and it'll just show up. i'm not running any fire wall, but i did have black ice, but uninstalled it because it was useless.
