Confidential data on hard drive

A question. At times I have used my bank's online banking service to check my account. This requires entering a customer id number as well as a password. This is done through a SSL 128bit encrypted connection (standard https). Ok assuming that part of the process is secure, is the password to my account somewhere on my hard drive waiting for some evil cracker to hack into my system and find it?

Not really, unless you let windows remember your password of if somebody installed a key logger on your system.
In Holland people get a special card reader wich they have to use everytime they login. Every time they insert their card the reader generates another code that is needed to use in order to login.
