Opera 6.0 for Linux Released After Predecessor's Record Downloads
Oslo, Norway -- May 15, 2002
Opera Software ASA today releases the final version of Opera 6.0 for Linux with features that improve the speed and Internet experience for Linux users worldwide. Opera's earlier version for the Linux platform, Opera 5 for Linux, was downloaded and installed over one million times.
Hmm It's nice that they finally did realease the "real" Opera 6.0 for Linux
I'm testing the 6.0 Beta 2 version and the 6.0 Technology Preview version since months... argh
Opera is great because of it's speed and mouse gestures... however some pages do not seem to work properly on it (AO for instance) ;)
