Each time I try to do a search of the archives, I end up with way too many threads from the alt forums. I was thinking maybe an option could be added either to the search from the main page or the advanced search which would allow you to deselect searching through the alt archives. Just a thought

avdven, I think that's a good idea. I myself do a lot of searching and have to go through the alt archives, not like I mind that much but if something can be done I will be grateful.
Guidance...
As a complete newbie, a comprehensive search facility would be most welcome. I find all the info on here v useful, but to be able to use it as a reference more would benfit us all
