View Member Avatars - Voting?

Hey everyone, how are we all today?

I just noticed the View Member Avatars link in the front page which shows all the custom avatars that members here at AO are using. I was just thinking, what if we have something, like the poll in threads, where you can vote for your favourite one? You could just have a radio button under each avatar on that page and people could vote if they wanted to.

It's just that I saw some nice lookin ones there, like ii-monk's one, and thought it'll be kool if we could have like a Avatar of the Month or something. Each member would be able to vote only once each month obviously.

Anyways, just an idea. Tell us what you think.

Wasn't there like a huge thread a few months back about voting for people's avatars? or was it signatures? hmm...

Yeah, I think it was for people's avatars, then someone tried to have another one for people's sig's, but it failed. Anyways, I can't really remember.

But this could just be like a monthly thing where you can vote if you want and cos they are all already on that avatar page, you could implement it easily - I think anyway.

yeah, there was a huge avatar competition a while back, but i don't remember who won. but great idea!

Yeah, it wouldn't be fun for the rest of you guys if I win every month.

Hehe...yeah, that probably would happen. But...you could just disable the winner of the previous month for one or more months and give others a go. Something along those lines...I dunno...could work.

a radio button under each avatar is a very good idea, maybe JP will have time to implement that
