I could have listed this under jokes but after thanking about it I thought this would be better here as hoaxes do get some people to do some dumb things to there computer and with all the chain mail out there it is easy and fast to get the news around.

Good information! I hate getting warnings of hoaxes from people who don't take a split second to check if it's a real threat or not. The Urban Legends Zeitgeist is another good source for some of the latest hoaxes out there (not all virus/trojan/computer related. many are of the "look out for muggers hiding under your car waiting to cut your achilles heel" sort):
