How to earn profit with a dead comp.

A metaphor for how to make money off of an old, broken down computer. :D
(Also interesting to any business people/majors out there)

So, I could post a raffle for an HP Pavilion 6360 in like new condition. So, then everyone thinks they could win a PC. Make $300, and get rid of an outdated 133MHz system. Nothing illegal about that, I never listed the specs, and it works fine. I'm running XP Pro on it as we speak...

I had a typewriter that crashed all the time.

If I typed too fast the little metal hammers would collide and jam up.

Bit of an old chestnut. You'll find it in one of PG Wodehouse's books. As far as I recall, that one used a greyhound as the base animal.

It just goes to show you that it never hurts to make the best of what you have.....even if it is a dead donkey! lol
