It would be even more full-proof if the users nick was added automatically to reduce the chance of someone inserting a false nick, because that again would cause even more conflict.
All I can say is, that is an absolutely superb idea, and a well thought out thread... I'm suprised you held back from ranting... Great Job Fake.

How do you feel AntiOnline is ran? What pushes your decision to provide your knowledge to others in the community? How do you feel about the respect or lack of, directed towards yourself by others in the AO community.
overall, i really like the site. there are a few times when it gets a little immature, but that is the risk taken when you make something like this available to everyone, including the skriptkiddies.
in general, if i know i can help someone, if i have gone through the same thing, i try to help. how am i respected? i dont know. i'm not what you call l33t or anything, but i have enough knowledge to help. there have been some reddies i've gotten that i dont quite understand. the request user to reply button is fine, but no good if nobody ever contacts you.

Sounds reasonable.
that sounds very reasonable. my problem is that i get mr. miyagi breathing down my neck to give out reddies to people. there have been some occasions where someone REALLY deserves that reddies, so i pass it to them with a Q. i have trouble giving out reds like candy, because everyone makes mistakes. i have no right (unless its some punk telling a joke over and over) to tell this person that their opinion is wrong and they shoudl be punished with red. that, to me, seems arrogant. but since we "have to" stay balanced, i feel i have to givethem out.

we do all have the same expectations of all members. To increase the wealth of information shared, and the quality of posts I think everyone should lead, and follow by example. With this said, a user that follows the example of a veteran should not be punished for sharing an opinion in the same manner as a veteran, as long as it is done in a positive fashion.
i would have to agree. "monkey see, monkey do." "what's good for the goose…" thing.
good post, fakeboy. interesting idea.
