Im running a 2k box and one day out of the blue all the applications decide to take a dump. When I attempt to open them it tells me that they do not have to correct runtime files to run this application. It's like something killed my Antivirus. I think that they used KKiller the new anti-virus and firewall killer. Please advise.
ok this is what i did;
I figured it was a virus so I ran Antivirus or tryed to it said that the application didnt exist to please check my path. So I went to the directory with the exe tryed that; no dice. So I reinstalled 2k and now my system is on a loop reboot. No OS no nothing am I screwed? Please advise.
i have never heard of anything like that. can you boot into dos? i would try that, and also can you run a system file check, or does it just boot up and say that there is no os? need a little more info please.
