I am a new member of antionine

I am a C# programmer, my favourite cmpiler is MS VisualC# environment. Also, I have a fair idea about internetworking and network programming, (I am a computer engineer), but my skills on using the Internet is small. My experince is only with MS Windows system

I need help about how acess the world of network hacking and defence:

Q: from where can I begin?
Q: starting sources of information?
Q: the important one is :- what is the programs hackers must have, in order 2 gain acess 2 others systems (to secure my self, I must know how others will attack me) ?


FOR SURE, I have no bad intentions,and if you feel with this, please do not help me

You are at one of the sites which provides much information about everything you wanna know.. AntiOnline: Search the forums ask questions and look in the file areas and you will find answers to many of your questions.

Other good sources of information is http://www.securityfocus.com/ and http://www.securitynewsportal.com and of course www.google.com

Hope this will get you in the right direction.

Well if you really want to break into a 'test' computer and not somebody else's I'd suggest checking out sub7, backOriface, & the many rootkits out there.
