Why is this post somewhat negative. Sincerely I thought the joke wasn't all that great but it was a joke in Tech Humor. It isn't crude, it isn't politically incorrect, it is in the right thread. Why jump on it with negs? If anything jokes should be neutral all the time don't waste negs or positives. Give those to people that deserve them for posting in the useful forums.

So, he placed the thread in the wrong area the first time? He obviously figured that out and moved it to the correct place. He is a newb who made a mistake. You shouldn't neg him for making a mistake. :)

Yes DjM I saw that thread. I then PM'd him and recommended he remove it or apologize there for it. Notice I didn't place a comment there about negs. Here the content is in the right place so I still don't understand negging it. Use the neg where it will do the best or, since he is very new, help him out with a PM or a post explaining the problem.
I must admit if this guy had 10-20 posts or 2-3 greenies I would not bring this up at all. But he doesn't and he tried to correct an obvious error and for that got negged. It isn't wrong to do so I just find it counter productive and don't understand it.
