When you hide a post does this make it inaccessable to users under 13?

I would suggest that since the DOB field is not a required field and even if it wa sthere is no verification required even the dumbest 12 yesr old would work out a way around it. Therefore, logically, a hidden post is only hidden from anyone who choses not to click the "read it here" hyperlink...... :D
I am aware of that possibility. I just want to know if that is why we are given the option to hide it. Thanks for your input though. ;)
I think you are given the opportunity to hide it more for competitions and the humor forum so that correct answers to quizzes can be kept hidden for those who want to work on the problem or if the joke is a little "off color" it gives the person the opportunity not to allow it to just pop up in everyone's face..... so to speak... :eek:
