Text Only AO Option

Hey All,

I’m sure that many of these site suggestions are not carried out (and with just cause :-)~ Although I did have an idea that I thought some of the users might find interesting?

Maybe, it would be nice, we could have an option to not accept images… a strictly text based AO. This would have a few good benefits for those users who chose the supposed option: Faster page loads, better view in smaller screen resolutions, easier to navigate with browsers like Lynx and other text based browsers, and of course (to me the most important) my fellow worker bees won’t think I’m at some scriptkiddie haxor site with a horrible color scheme, j/k…

Btw- Mozilla users can easily block/unblock images from any server…

Hmm there is a Print button that makes the post all text but i dont see the full of AO being mirrored as a text site i think this has been asked before a long time ago way back last year there aint no simmilar thread but im sure there was one

I don't think mirroring the entire site would be necessary?
couldn't you just code the php to check before it gives img tags?
