You might be able to give them to a charity or something. A woman's shelter in my area used to take them to use for battered women and counselors.
...no, no, no, I mean use for anything electronical on my advantage?~ ;)
(not to sound greedy or anything)
You could verify the existence of gravity in your area by dropping them off a 10th story balcony??? Fire them from a potato gun???

what kind of phones are they? model#, etc...
u can always google them. i found a pretty cool site for my phone where i can get in and play with the coding and such.. as well as a few cord hacks (like USB changed to recharge while plugged into puter).
Well we use them to train people in Aikido - they are an excellent weapon for self defence.....that would give you a benefit.

Then you can look at all the parts and (ect)
Ok Here comes grumpy Und3rtak3r again....
Old Mobile phones.. As these are predominatly a duplex radio tranceiver with fancey controle electronics and user interface.. what can you do..
Old in car (3w analogue) - can be modified to one of several Ham radio bands either directly or via transverter.. A couple of locals converted a pair of Voxon set into (illegal) phone repeaters..
or how about being the IF Amp and fm demodulator in a "satillite downlink audio test-set"
Now as for the GSM handies.. Take another look at The Specialist's comments again.. and a little of imagination (oh and a lot of electronic knowledge) and possabilities abound..
