You need to get Adobe Distiller then you just select it as a printer and it works its magic-ish, actaully i dont think it is called Adobe Distiller, i think its just called Adobe Acrobat and distiller comes with it.

depending on how big your documents are this place might interest you, free online conversion to pdf.... no limit on the number of files you can convert but files must be less than 500k in size

You dont say what OS you are using. If you were using linux you could use a2ps to convert your document to post script and then use ps2pdf to convert your document to pdf.For free. But you are probably on windows.
