They just bought Okena a few weeks ago.

I hope at least they can build some reliability into the linksys products. It's not like they were a threat to their enterprise dominance. They should be buying Foundry instead.

So I wonder if I'll be able to flash the ROM on my little linksys switch and put IOS 12.x on it? :)

excellent, hopefully they will release some cheap switches with an ios thread_killer, that support vlans and the like...another watch this space scenario.
