mIRC

A friend told me about a good online chat program called mIRC. So I thought I should check it out. I downloaded the program and join any random server and a chat room with a decent amount of people. For some reason no one was talking period. Not to me or anyone else. Am I doing something wrong? Say/Typing the wrong thing? Or What? :confused:

Some times the channels are just dead. People sign in but no one really chats unless it is to someone they know. You could try checking out the other channels. Once you sign in to a server, put your cursor in the little box at the bottom and type /list. You can then join a channel by typing /join channelName in the same box.
You should check out the AntiOnline chat at:
irc.YoursInCyberspace.com
In your mIRC connect settings add a new server with the above name. I have been having some trouble connecting lately though.
