I was just asked about this feature again. Is there anything besides PGP?
Just an FYI, we tried to update this system to 2000. However, the machinery this system runs is not upward compatible and the OS will not recognize the cards used to run these devices.

You'll definately have to go 3rd party for this. ;)
For encryption, I have a free proggy called Fine Crypt installed on this computer.
I'm not sure if it supports Win95.
We used this software *eons* ago on W95.

It's called lockout. I'm not sure if this will server your purposes but it's worth a look.
