Best encryption program

Ok well I wanted an encryption/decryption program for my emails what me and my buddies can use. I was just wondering which program do you guys use? I want to find a good one. Any help? I tryed google and download.com but came up with alot of them, which is the best?

Three letters--PGP http://www.pgp.com/products/freeware.html. If not that, go to http://www.thawte.com and you and your buddies all get yourselves freemail certs and use them w/ MS Outlook.
