FTP Don't Show IP
[gloworange]For Those Interested in Setting up FTP's Without giving out your IP for connecting[/gloworange]
Just for those who don't know.. If you have a Static IP and you are running an FTP Instead of Posting your IP Address everywhere you advertise your FTP, you can go online to some wonderful sites like .
http://dns2go.deerfield.com/
and use there Dynamic DNS Servers to Change your login from your person IP address into something like
JohnDoe.mine.nu
then to log onto your FTP just put in JohnDoe.mine.nu Instead of 255.255.255.255 ?? what ever..
Although this is pretty cool.. and it will fool most Script Kitty's from getting your Real IP, it can be found out from a Whois.. :(
But neat never the Less.. Check it out !!.. Works for Webpages aswell !.
[gloworange]Thankz for CHecking out My Post !!.. [/gloworange]
