Here is one for all of you security gurus
I have a friend who is considering Motorola's Canopy Wireless system as a means to deliver broadband internet to the rural southwest portions of the USA. I have provided a PDF of the specs, with links to more information. Tell me if anyone here has any experience with this system, and tips on securing it that might be helpful.
This sounds a lot like an 802.11x (x being a variable) that I read about recently, which would lead me to assume (yeah...assuming is a dangerous thing to do but since the big 4-0 is staring me in the face this coming week I'm living on the edge ;) ) that the specifics for locking it down would be similar to other 802.11 products. I'll do a bit of digging and see if I can find the article and post a link for you.
