Does anyone have Knoppix. I just downloaded it the other day and I love it so far. It supports far more then redhat/mandrake. Well anywayz I have a question, I downloaded the newest version(3.2) and it seems to be missing quite a lot of tools. For instance all of the utilities located here http://www.knoppix-std.org/tools.html are not seen. Is there an extra package i'm not aware of?

The utilities listed at http://www.knoppix-std.org/tools.html would have to be downloaded and installed by yourself. They are a list of various 3rd party applications and are not part of the Knoppix package
Yes i do, infact i just downloaded it yesterday. I was especially glad to see that it comes with the gimp.:cool:Quote:

If i'm not mistaken though, SuSE comes with a boat load of applications that many of the other linux distributions do not offer.
