Honeynets are computers that are left somewhat unprotected on purpose.
The objective is to lure hackers (should I say crackers) into them to see what kind of techniques they use.

I believe as noODle said, a honeypot is a computer left relatively unprotected, while a honeynet is a simulated "network" (Web server, email, local LAN, etc) left unprotected....
