Win 2000 update 811493

Watch ur head incomming newbe question

I seem to be having some truble installing windows update 811493. Fore some odd reason. I have 10 computers running the same setup and only one giving me a hard time.. just to make it as safe as posible my boss got us on a wireless lan. (D-Link 900 series access point with Wep and all kind of good stuff :)

so i keep timing out from time to time ....damed brikwall`s.

I got sp3 installed (sp4 isent rdy in Norwegian yett)

Any qules on what to check first and so on?

From the reference to SP3 and SP4 I assume you are running some version of Win2k. The Microsoft Win2k security newsgroup has six references to weirdness associated with this patch, but I can't tell from you description whether they match your problem. You might subscribe to

microsoft.public.win2000.security at news.microsoft.com and see if any of them ring a bell.

I got this thingy installed yesterday......Not a sec to late.

Uninstalled all service packs and tryed again...worked fine:)
