I'm trying to find out which one would be better in making a web site, PHP or Html. :confused: I'm new at this kind stuff :confused: . All input will be appreicated also if there is a website that would explain the difference between the two it would be great. :)
It really depends on what you're planning to do with your site. PHP uses HTML so it would be better to have a good understanding of HTML before jumping into PHP>

It's basically just for a site where me and some friends can post stuff but only us would be able to post on it and nobody else. Thank you for the links you gave me they are informative.
PHP would definately be the better language to learn, but like GG said, you have to known HTML to successfully use PHP. PHP is more dynamic whereas HTML is static. You wouldn't want a forum based site to be static, however there are some commands you could use to make a good chunk of it work. Do some research and figure out exactly how you want to run it. There are many ways. Also look into PHPbb and the likes... you may want to take an already existing system and just mod it to fit your needs.
I just need to implement a forum for my website. Do I need to study PHP to do that or there are some already made forums available that I can just implement on my website and these forums just do the working on their own.
I am actually running away from the coding part. So, is there any easy method to achiave that or I am only stuck up with the coding choice.
