Image Size in Signature

It seems that if a user uploads an image to use in a signature, it can't be more than 300 x 50 in size. But if a user simply links to an image on another site, it seems there are no checks in place to see how large that image is.

I did some tests and was able to use signatures larger than the limit of 300 x 50 simply by linking to the images.
